Movie > Games, Games > Movies.....

Much inspiration in the gaming world comes from movies - that is, many video games are made with movies as the source material (Iron Man, Transformers, Disney movies, etc.). Lately, the opposite has often become true, too - video games being turned into movies (Resident Evil, Halo, etc.) Which ones have worked well in your opinion - and which others WOULD be great to either turn into a movie (from a video game) or a video game (from a movie)?

Forza Motorsport - review by Clayton Brown

Title:Forza Mortorsport 3
Cost and release date N/A

Graphics: 10/10
this game has amazing graphics, when you crash into walls your car does take damage and the tracks have a lot of detail if you bother to take a look while your racing around.

Sound: 5/10
the game has cheesey music and ther is no voice acting by what i can decern from playing the game.

Gameplay: 3/10
this gets a low score becuase as far as racing games go this is the most boring i have ever played in mah life X[ i played it for 10 mins and i hated it. it is nothing like Need for speed where u can customize your car. choose a race choose a car and race. BORING.

Value: 7/10
for all those racing fans out there get this game but if your not all that into racing type games steer clear.

Street Fighter 4 - review by Clayton Brown

Title: Street Fighter 4
Cost and release date un available.

Graphics:8/10
This games graphics are great they run both smoothly and the artistic quailty aspect is great, but it is nothing new, much of the levels are the same or are the same ones just revamped a lil. Each character has 2 speacial moves that have insane graphic effects when performed.

Sound:6/10
voice acting is spectatular but sound effects and music are mostly the same or just revamped, not to say they don't have any new things but to me it just sounds like have just copied most of the sound stuff, also its not exactly music that i'd want to fight too.

Gameplay:8/10
the game is incredibly fun to play. The controls however are the only thing that kept this from a 10/10, they are difficult to learn and the special moves are insanly difficult to perform. The game comes with 8 difficultys ranging from easiest to hardest providing fun for all skill lvls while still offering a challange to players who want more. This game has a lil bit of a story line to each character but nothing for the game to rely on.

Value:10/10
I don't know the cost for the game but the game has all of your favorite characters plus many new ones. Each has its own mini storyline. Beware this game is no pushover, on the medium difficulty it took me 3 hours to beat the game with blanka, i had to keep switching characters to confuse the A.I..

Overall:10/10
this is one of the best fighter games ever:P

Review Format

As a service to our fellow gamers out there, I thought it'd be cool to do some video game reviews - of games we own, games we rent, etc. You've probably read many so know the basics, but here's a format to follow in creating your own:

Specs: Title, cost, release date

Graphics: Both the technical quality of the graphics, as well as the artistic quality. How smoothly the game’s graphics run factor into this score, as well.

Sound: Covers sound effects, voice acting, and music.

Gameplay: In essence, how fun the game actually is to play. This covers things like the controls, difficulty level, design of levels, etc. For games that come from genres that rely heavily on their story (particularly RPGs), I may adjust this score slightly to reflect how well the story is executed, as well. Obviously, this is the most important component.

Value: Covers things like replay value, the length of time it takes to go through the game, the price the game is going for in retail stores, etc. For example, if a game has a solid multiplayer mode, lots of unlockables, and several modes to play through in single player as well, expect to see a high rating here. Also, if the game is solid, and comes out with a lower-than-normal retail price, it will also earn a high score in this category.

Overall: Overall impression of the game. Use a rating system - 9 out of 10, for instance, for an awesome game.

That's it! Now if you get a chance, post a review for a game you've been playing lately.
